Dzegejir Azua is my name, I hold a B.sc in sociology, member of criminologists without borders development initiative. I am 45 years of age, married with two children ( boys). I started growing up in my village, koti-yough Ute, but my Uncle offered to help train me in school as pay back for what my father had done to him, we then moved to Abuja at the age of 10years, I started secondary school and was doing fine until my uncle decided to relocate temporarily to Gboko to meet his family due to the fact that The Independent electoral commission where he was working was disbanded. Life became very difficult for me trying to survive on my own, I go to school hungry, not knowing where the next meal will come from, I was tempted to go back to the village but I held on with the determination to go to school. I finally graduated from secondary school but nobody to sponsor me to the university.
Iam into buying and selling of palm oil and other food stuff. I ventured into buying and selling of palm oil and other food items in other to sponsor myself in school. After my secondary education, I contacted a friend and secondary school mate, who introduced me to his wealthy parents, I explained my predicament to them, though they offered to pay my school fees that term, but I rather they lend me more money to start business, and so they obliged me. I started buying palm oil from my village to Makurdi to sale to market women and it was very profitable, then I extended it to Abuja, because I discovered that, most of the palm oil consumed in Makurdi and Abuja were adulterated, so I make sure I get the best quality and supply. That way I was able to sponsor myself through school, I also got married with the same business. I have two children boys, 10yrs and 6yrs, Divine 10, wants to be a medical Doctor while Desire 6 wants to be a lawyer.
