Hello members, my name is Dalifa Yusuf, a thirty year old lady of Nubian ethnicity. However, I am a Kenyan citizen and I'm happily married with one child, a baby boy. I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. I grew up in a middle class home and have fond memories of swimming in local rivers and playing outside until night time. Times were different then as there was no internet. I decided to start my business when I was 26 years old, having completed my degree and not being able to get a job in my field. I have come to love running my business and the thing I love most is being self employed and managing something I started on my own and having a daily income that I can manage to take care of myself and my son. My husband has a job and we both chip in on raising our child. In my free time I enjoy cooking and would like to one day be able to travel across the globe and experience exotic places.

My business is a grocery market where I sell everyday vegetables and groceries like tomatoes, onions, garlic, greens and cabbage, fruits and spices among others. I thank God that I make money daily because the things I sell are commonly used everyday in every household and I am among the few people in my area that sells groceries. I am looking for a business boost because I am at a place where the demand is higher than the supply, hence I would like to increase my stock to meet the demand. My typical costs every week are about 5000kshs and within the week I make averagely 14000kshs. I use the profits to take care of rent and food and also reinvesting in my business and will soon use them to provide school fees for my child.

I will increase my stock and expand my shop to be able to cater for the demand of my products. I believe by this I will be able to take care of my community's needs and my own family needs. I am very grateful for this opportunity to be a part of this community.
