I am Luka Chelot an ambitious and hardworking gentleman.I was born and raised in Trans Nzoia county in a Christian family. At the age of 25 i moved out of my home in search of self employment.I gathered little capital from my family members and went out to start my own business.

The unique thing about my culture is that people live in a nuclear family. My children would like to be a doctor and an engineer when they grow up.My hobby is reading about new trends in cloth production.

My business deals with making shoes, sandals, clothes knitting , motor bike and vehicle covers and other types of clothing wears. I started my business back in the year 2010.These are in high demands due to the fact that i reside near a University premises catering for youths who are love going with the new trends in clothing fashion.

I chose this type of business due to low start up capital. My monthly typical costs includes Rent of USD 30,Electric ity USD 2,Salaries and Wages USD 90,Raw materials USD 100.

My monthly revenue averages USD 440.I use this profits to pay my house rent ,my children's school fees and re-investing back into my business.

My business has been extremely doing well. In fact, since i took a loan from zidisha,it enabled me make more products and attracted more customers. Ever since then, more and more customers have been visiting in need of more and more products. I am therefore going to purchase more materials worth about 14.5 dollars for clothing production and this will enable me increase my profits by about 5.5%.And this will also make more products available for my customers.
