My name is Caroline Wanjiku Njoroge. I am 29 years old and I come from Kerugoya in Kirinyaga County but I live in Ruiru Kiambu County. I am married and I have a daughter 5years old and a son 1 year old. I work as an editor in a publishing firm in Nairobi and I also buy vikoys from a company in Ruiru and send to my mother in Kerugoya to sell for me. I started with only 5 vikoys and was making a good profit and so I added to ten and the profit is amazing. In our place that is Kerugoya there is a lot of cold so they need those vikoys to protect themselves from the cold. I also have an mpesa business in Ruiru. My hobbies are cooking, swimming, investing and spending time with my family.

I sell vikoys in our home area. I get them from a company in Ruiru called spinners and spinners limited at a cheaper price which enables me to transport to Kerugoya. My mother is willing to help me sell them because our home area is very cold and so they are in demand there. The business is doing well and I also added blankets, baby shawls and maasai shukas. My mpesa shop is also doing very well. The profits I get from my businesses helps me in my family's upkeep because I have a daughter and a son. I also help my husband in repaying a loan that he took to pay for his school fees and also I still educate my younger brother. They have taken me to another level in life.

I want to add float to my working balance in my mpesa. The place where my shop is located needs alot of money owing to the demand of people to deposit and withdraw large amounts of money. I need this loan to be able to owe to their needs and to also build confidence with them.
