My name is Tauseni Victor Chomba, i am a Zambian and i am 46 years old and i am married with 4 Children.
I was born in Mwinilunga but i was grown up in Samfya District by my grandfather and grandmother and from grade 1 up to grade 12 i learned from there.
When i reached grade 7 i discovered that a talent of singing started developing in me i started composing songs but by that time it was just like playing and during School break time i was singing for my friends in the class room and they were feeling good with my songs and they were encouraging me to start recording them but that time i didn't take it seriously but when i grew up thought that singing is a very good thing which makes people feel happy and learn some good morals i kept on composing songs and later on i made a group so that we start singing together. And we name our singing band inimbo shamafunde in bemba language and in English is called songs of laws in the society.
In our Culture now your people are taking in smoking and drinking beer so decided to start composing songs that teaches young ones and elders at large.
One of my children is already doing a course in medicine and the others ones when they grow i want them do courses according to their capabilities and also to be respectful in the society.
Most of the times i like playing music and singing.
As per my introductory part as at now the job that i am doing is singing in shorts i am a musician, i do sing and record songs that teaches young ones and elders at large to have good morals in the society.
But we have the challenge with our studio equipments are not enough so i decided that we join Zidisha community so that may be helped to buy the equipments so that our music may sound best than ever.
The money that we make we use it grow our music careers and feed our families.
I am a Zambian musician normally sings Zambian music which teaches young ones and elders our music is based on the present time of living many of the young people have gone astray with drugs an alcohol so through our song we teach them. Therefore the funds will buy music instrument.
