my name is livia mudenda .i was born in 1986 in choma.my parents are alvin mudenda and molly munkombwe.i went to proimary school at silukwiya primary school in choma district.i did my secondary at sikalongo secondary .i finished my grade twelve in 2006.my father died in 1994 when i was 8 years old.my mother is just a small scale farmer.when i completed school i started helping my mother with farming.life wasnt easy growing up.i have three kids and iam a single mum.
my business is fish business.i sell fresh fish.i order the fish from sinazeze where lake kariba is.i order the fish at $2 per kg and i sell $3.5. fresh fish is on demand here its just that i do not supply on a large scale.people who own restuarants and lodges sometimes phone me but usually i do not have enough to meet the demand.i usually use about $10 on transport, that is going to order the fish and coming back to choma.therefore the profit i make from selling fish is very good.its just that i need to expand my business so that i can be able to provide for my self and my childern.my first born is ten years and is doing grade four.i need to ensure that i pay school fees for him
when i recieve the loan i will use the money to order more fish.that way il be able to supply my customers according to their demands.the fish business is very marketable because people buy fish every day.i believe that this loan will help me with my family very much.my customers will also be happy to get more fish from me.
