I was born in west pokot county widely known for the clashes between the communities living there in a low class family.i was raised by a single mother my father died in one of the major clashes between our tribe and our neighbouring. I went to school but droped out as early as i was in class 6 due to the lack of fees and the same time insecurity issues.i started my business of farming when i was 14 years old i used to go miles away to fetch water so as to irrigate the crops.when my children grow up i would like them to acquire adequate education.i like offering leadership.
I do farming .i plant drought resistant crops such as water mellons and onions.i usually go miles away to fetch water so as to irrigate the crops to enhance proper harvest.the water mellons are liked by people in our area and i usually sell to them at affordable prices. I chose this type of business due to the weather conditions as it suits it.i usually earn some good money selling the produce and use it to provide needs to my family and also expand my business.
I would use the money to expand my business by cultivating more in our area.there is plen7of land but the resources are inadequate. I will cultivate using 15 dollars and it will boost my the produce at the end of the season.i expect a 80 % profit increase if it goes well
