i am a young mother of two beautiful girls aged 4 years and 1 year married and am 29 years old . i cleared high school and did food service at a local college but as fate would have it getting a job was a problem. this did not prevent me from making use of the free time. i ha d to get idea of earning livelihood
my uncle once brout me some old shoes from United kingdom and unfortunately i did not like them so i opted to sell then at a low price to some of my close friends and relatives around me and since they ware many pairs i ended up with kshs 6000 and with this cash i got a bale of second hand clothes and started selling door to door especially on Sundays. i then started selling handbags right from the comfort of my house via friends and thru my Facebook account. i buy from 24- 50 pieces each i get for 1200 and sell at 2000 thus a profit of 800 and at time time sell at 1800 depending clientele. i have been doing this for some time now and hoping to open a shop and make it an 'office' or pick up point and thus i need a soft loan to keep me going either by boosting by stock or getting a permanent location. i strongly belieave that one day i will switch from second hand clothes to new ones and that i will open a boutique to hold a bigger stock and with that i will be able to put my kids in a gud school and provide better housing. i am sure Zidisha will be the bridge to my success.
with this amount i will increase my stock from one bale to 3. this translates to enough stock for my customers. it will also save me in terms of transport cost since i will be doing a one time purchase unlike before where i would do 3 purchases each with a transport cost on its own. i believe my business will expand and thus create more opportunities. i plan to open up another sale point as part of my expansion plans.
here is a break down of what i intend to do with the cash loan and my small savings i have at hand. $60 will be used specifically for stocking up wile the rest of the loan and my savings will be used rent. the profits will be used for expansion (in two months).
