My name is Sydney, i am well known as uncle LEX, because I resemble former Zanaco Footballer. And my Internet Cafe is known us Uncle Lex Cafe. I was born in Ndola, the copperbelt Pronvince of Zambia, I grew up in a place called Zambia Compound and did my Primary school at Malela Community School. Life was not easy but i managed to pull through and found myself in Lusaka through the help of my friend and i was kept in his parents house while attended evening classes while working during the day as a sales champ at Lusaka Breweries. I managed to write my grade 12 exams and passed, then i continued working as a sales champ raising the money for college, and i managed to raise enough and thought of opening a small shop where i bought a computer and putting music into Flash disks, and in phones for customers and burning of Video CDs for customers just to make sure i don't go broke during my college. I changed my mind after seeing the overwhelming response from the customers that made me change the shop into an Internet Cafe and started offering priting and Internet services. And i could not go to College full time, i am now doing distance learning on IT programme while managing my Cafe.
I am running an Internet Cafe where i am offering Good and quality fast Internet provided by Vodaphone. I Offer Color printing services and laminating of documents. I would ike to grow big and just to boost my business as it is the only source of income so that i can continue helping my family i left in the copperbelt. And also reinvest into some other business that will be connected to my Cafe. Like opening a studio for music and picture or photo developing.
I will buy more Chairs and Desks for my Internet Cafe, because i have received more computers and o would like to start using them for more income, as i have too many customers waiting for others to finish using the Internet.
