Being born, raised up and educated in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya in a fast growing urban town of Nakuru, I have watched my parents do business and educate my siblings and I through school, college, with minimal struggle. After completing my college and armed with my Business Administration Diploma, I started applying for jobs to various companies some responded others offered very low salaries, after working for 2yrs with low pay, I felt it was time to try pursue my passion and dream which is Designer Clothing Line, that’s how Lordswin Clothing Line came into existence.
Lordswin Clothing Line is a growing business with a branch in Nakuru and Nairobi dealing in both men and ladies ware. I am now on my 2nd year running, with a growing clientele due to my taste, passion and talent in picking the best outfit for my clients. I specialize mostly on second hand clothes popularly known as ‘Mitumba’ here in Kenya and my main source being ‘Gikomba Market in Nairobi’.
Most of my clients are young people, though I also stock few ware for the older generation. In this business one has to stock variety of outfit ranging from official ware, casual, to weekend ware so that clients are not disappointed. To stay ahead in this highly competitive clothes market one has to keep upgrading since clients like finding all they want for their wardrobe under one roof.
I am Moses Macharia, from Nakuru county, I learnt about Zidisha from my friends and quickly grabbed the opportunity to ask for some capital to help boost my "Mitumba wear". I will use the money to introduce another designer wear to attract more customers especially the youth. I will make sure I complete my loan on time so that I qualify for another bigger amount which will enable me to expand outside Nakuru County hence more income and sales.
I trust with this help from Zidisha I will go far and introduce more of my friends to try it. Thank you.
