My name is Simon, I am an Agriculturalist by profession. I do farming of horticultural produce for the local market while at the same time providing freelance consultancy services to farmers growing fruits and vegetables for both local and export markets.

Having worked in the agriculture industry for more than ten years, I have wealthy of first hand experience on Agribusiness ventures. This centers mainly on technical aspects as well as overall Agribusiness management.

I am passionate and happy being an Agriprenuer.

My main business is farming of fruits and vegetables for the local market. I have leased a 4 acres farm for one year where I am grow Watermelon, Tomatoes, Onions, Leafy vegetables, and okra. Watermelon is the main crop whereas the rest I grow as per the local market requirements.

My plan is to gradually expand to at least 10 acres so that I can be able to grow more different crops as a way of spreading production risks and also create more job opportunities for the local community.

The funds realized shall be used to procure Onions seeds, fertilizer and some pesticides. This will be critical for timely procurement of the inputs and establishment of the project.
