I am a freelance writer and I want some money to buy a charger for my laptop.
I recently graduate from Maseno University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Option. Due to unemployment I want to committed in expanding my own online writing business so that I can generate my own income and be my own boss and independent.
I have been writing for the last few months and I believe online writing is one of the most lucrative business opportunity that youth can venture in. In addition its one of the fastest grow business opportunities in Kenya.
I have been working from a cyber which is extremely costly but recently I acquired a second hand laptop which unfortunately does not have a charger. As a result, am applying for this loan to buy a charger. Once I purchase the charger I can be able to complete more tasks at any time. This will enable me save more and expand my online business and possibly other youth.
I look forward to working with you, increase my loan limit and mentoring others
As I indicated earlier, I work online as a freelance article writer. Freelancing is when you do major or minor tasks here and there for cash. It is a business opportunity that has taken roots in developed countries, but it is now that it has started embraced in developing countries, Kenya in particular.
I get tasks from developed countries, mostly from people who have online businesses. Online businesses are blogs, websites or Apps that generate revenue from Google and other advertising companies.
These online businesses need content on a daily basis, which the webmasters cannot satisfy by themselves. They therefore outsource the work to freelancers all over the world. I happen to be one of them, but working from Kenya.
They sometimes outsource these tasks via middlemen (article writing accounts). So, projects are posted on reputable article writing accounts. We pick them, write, and submit them to those accounts. Online business owners will then get well written articles, where they approve them and pay us via those article writing accounts.
I have been making approximately Kshs 500($5) in a day, which translates to around Kshs 15,000 per month.
I will use my first loan to purchase a charger for my recently acquired second hand laptop. I will then use the next loan I will get after repaying the first one to expand my online business by buying an article writing account; that pays better per word.
I will then continue repaying my loan and raise my limit to a point where I can also own an online business or businesses, and employ other youth in Kenya and beyond.
