I grew up in Bomet. My dad passed away when I was 9 years and life became very hard. I am in Bomet town today and I am trying to do business and support my young siblings. My dream is to become the best God fearing entrepreneur - someone that will create employment for many people and support the less fortunate (such as orphans where I reside and in the countryside). Having brought up by a widow gives me strength and hope in my business.
My business offers services to the customers i.e.M-pesa and cyber services. I started the business in 2013 after searching for a job in vain. My biggest challenge is not having enough capital to sustain it. My customers are vegetable vendors, passers by and residents in my business area. My goal is to be the best entrepreneur offering reliable services. In a month i make profits of $100 which i use to expand my business more, help my family and save the rest
I intend to use the loan to open another branch outside the compound I operate from, since its a compound hosting government offices. This will enable me to tap customers outside the compound and to operate during weekends. I expect this strategy to add my business assets, cater for more customers and increase my business profits. I also expect my income to increase and this will enable me to provide a much better life for my family and cater for emergencies and future needs.
