I'm Salif Traore. I was born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso on June 29, 1978. I am single without children. I live in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso, sector 21, in the Colsama neighborhood. I am the owner of a cafeteria kiosk. I sell espresso, Lipton tea, and natural fruit juice. I want to expand my business by selling a lot of other things like sandwiches, and why not food and drinks in the long term. This is why I come to Zidisha Micro-finance to solicit financial support for my business. After my primary and secondary education, respectively in Farakan Primary School and Charles de Gaulle High School in Bobo-Dioulasso, I also had the chance to do some training in the field of business management.
I currently have food kiosk that is open during the work week (Monday to Friday) from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 6:00 a.m. to midnight and often up to 2 a.m. if there are still customers. In my kiosk I sell espresso, Lipton tea, natural fruit juices, etc. With this small business as it is I meet my personal expenses such as food and healthcare. In this work I make daily sales of 6,000 francs and can have profits of 2,000 francs and often more. I rely on help from Zidisha to enlarge my food kiosk, and I am convinced that this boost can really help me to broaden my scope. I thank you sincerely.
