My name is Whiteson Phiri a Zambian entrepreneur in music industry of entertainment. I come from a humble background, I grew up and was raised by both parents who are still alive doing farming business at the farm. I live in Bauleni Compound East of Lusaka. I started school at Chibelo Primary School. While at Primary School as a young boy, I was involved in school drama and entertainment, such singing, playing music and drama. When I qualified to form 1 at Kabulonga School Boys, I continued to involve myself in the entertainment school club until one of the teachers identified me to be good and talented in the entertainment of music and drama.
In form 3, I was appointed school captain in entertainment club and drama after representing the school very well in interschools competition and the school won an award of which I was also awarded as the first student to have made the school proud in entertainment of music and drama.
I completed my form 12 as a proud student at Kabulonga Boys with an award. When I completed in 2018, I had an opportunity to enjoy the Arts Association of Zambia on merit due to my outstanding performance in music entertainment, where I was performing at Lusaka Theatre Club. I became active and participating in arts activities such as music festivals, road shows, sports events and at graduation ceremonies, where I playing good music to entertain the people as the DJ or Master ceremony which I started generating good income and I became an entrepreneur in the entertainment of music and being hired at a good price for big events such as sporting events, weddings, kitchen party's, music festivals and road shows for companies running sales promotions by promoting their products through music shows. Hence I support from the backers to purchase a big PA System so I could provide good sound music system to the targeted audience.
Am mainly involved in the entertainment of music industry for different events in our community. I provide entertainment of music as DJ by playing good music for the selected targeted audience for specific events. Be it sports, music festivals, road shows, recording of music, singing and dancing. Hence I need the PA System comprising of the microphone, speakers and the amplifier to make my music sound reach out targeted audience during all music events in the functions am hired to perform. As a result this will benefit me greatly to develop and grow in the entertainment industry of music by providing the best sound of music to draw the attention of all entertainment music houses for more business and therefore generate more income to grow the music industry become the best recording music producer in our community and the country at large.
With the funds requesting in this project, I need to purchase a PA System equipment comprising of the microphone, loud speakers and the amplifier to make my music sound reach out the targeted audience during all music events in all the function hired to perform .As a result this benefit me greatly and add value to the entertainment industry by providing the best recording sound of music to targeted audience in our community and earn good income to support me and my family.
