My name is Kennedy Muturi Njagi. I am currently a student at Strathmore university pursuing Actuarial Science degree-Second Year.I live in Utawala. Opposite GSU training school along the eastern bypass, there is a junction that will lead you to Mihango estate on house number 26.Opposite GSU training school there is a junction that has a lot of shops. Using that road move approximately 500metres till you reach a large red building called panda place and turn right. There you will see a flashlight. I live in the house that is opposite the flashlight ( gray iron sheets).My house has gray iron sheets and is painted white on its walls. I then went to Meru school where I got an A in my final exams and was able to secure a place in Strathmore university to study Actuarial Science.I have been able to a feel of the financial world in terms of insurance and investments.I also have started a small entrepreneurship business at home where I have over 100 birds that lay eggs every day. I am able to sell the eggs at retail price and the money helps me in settling some of my petty expenses.I have also been involved in forex trading though at a beginner's level.I have been able to learn so much in it like executing simple orders.I like cycling a lot as a pastime activity.I also enjoy watching movies-Thrillers to be more specific.I would like my children to be people that care and mind about other's welfare regardless of the social status that they will be then.I would like them to be true to themselves and possess a high level of humility.
The supply of white meat especially chicken is very high in kenya and so does kienyeji eggs. I started of with 100 1 day old kienyeji chicks. I have grown the business to over 150 fully matured chicken with an average supply of 20 eggs per day.An average egg goes for KES 20 and in a week am able to generate around 5000 which I use to expand the business.In the future I would like to expand it to the maximum of can grow. With my knowledge gained in Actuarial science it has always been my wish that I develop a platform that will issue out loans at very low interest or zero interest rate to the less fortunate people in the society. I also would like to sell out micro insurance products to such people so as to make their lives better and to have them protected and cover in times of need. For instance their is that old granny that cannot walk yet has no wheelchair because of lack of funds.I believe this will help out in so many ways especially in reaching out to the less fortunate.
I would like to request for a loan for my professional exams which are due in December. I will use the money to register for my professional examinations this December so that i can do the exams in April next year.
