Hello.. My name is Yohanes Sutanto. I live in Klaten, Central Java Province with my wife and a 9-year-old daughter. I am an evangelist who has an interest in developing the lives of small and poor communities.
Since the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020-2022, I have realized the importance of food independence and an environmentally friendly lifestyle. After church service in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan and returning to Klaten in July 2024, I started building an integrated farming system in a narrow yard to meet family nutritional needs while processing household waste more wisely. The things I did included: 1. Planting fruit and vegetable plants in the yard 2. Making biopore holes to absorb rainwater 3. Using composter bags to process organic waste 4. Raising 500 catfish 5. Raising 10 village chickens 6. Raising maggots to process recycled waste and provide feed for catfish and chickens. All of these activities support each other to create a productive, healthy and environmentally friendly home environment.
