Let me introduce myself. I am I Komang, 67 years old, currently living alone with a grandson who is still in elementary school. I live in Bali, Indonesia, and currently work as a farmer, focusing on cultivating cassava leaves for various restaurants in Bali, Indonesia. I support the family burden by living with my granddaughter, a little girl who is currently studying hard. I hope that my granddaughter will grow up to be a smart child and live a stable and independent life. My only dream in my old age is for my granddaughter to achieve success through higher education and be useful in her future life.

Cassava plants are a daily consumption for people in Bali, Indonesia. My business is providing cassava leaves to dozens of cafes, restaurants, and eateries in the Denpasar area of Bali, Indonesia. The profit in this business is 200 thousand rupiah per day. I have a garden cut by my parents which I currently manage for cassava gardens, cassava leaves are needed by all food stalls, especially Padang restaurants throughout Denpasar, Bali. The average daily need for cassava leaves is 25 kg for about 13 (thirteen) customers of my food stall for approximately 10 (ten) years until now. The price of cassava leaves varies depending on the type and quality, especially during the dry season with 1 kg being 19 (nineteen) thousand rupiah. For now, I need a means of transportation to deliver cassava leaves to all my restaurant customers. In the future, my plan is to buy a shopping motorbike as a means of transportation for delivering cassava leaves. Thank you Zidisha for supporting my business.

I will use this loan to purchase 25 kg of cassava leaves and deliver them directly to 13 restaurants in Denpasar, Bali. I will earn approximately IDR 160,000 in profit from the Zidisha loan. Thank you to all Zidisha members for your support.
