My name is Amoanimaa Doris, I come from Mankranso. I was born on 4th day of June 1990. I attended primary School at Mankranso after which I attended a day Secondary School because my parents were not able to send me to a boarding school, my parents are farmers, they cultivate watermelon. after my secondary education, I did not get the opportunity to attend any tertiary institution in Ghana because My parents were not harvesting enough crops for the previous years so live was not moving smoothly at all and i was their only child and the cost of having tertiary education too was not easy so due to this I was not able to further my education.I helped my parents in their farming for 3 years before they were able to raise a capital for me to start something for myself so that I can assist them in difficult times.
I sell farm products. I buy food stuffs and different types of vegetables from the local farmers to sell. This business is fast moving since about 75% of the populants in this town are farmers. I move from town to town markets selling these food stuffs such as cocoyam, yaw, potatoes and vegetables. I was able to start this business about two years ago when my church donated funds to me. This business has been the only source of income to me, and my future as well.
I need a loan from Zidisha to enable me include the selling of both local and foreign fruits such as apples, pineaples and others. This will generate more income for me since many people likes those items for domestic use.
