My name is Lucas owiti, I come from Kisumu which is in nyanza province Kenya currently operating a retail and wholesale eggs and chiks shop in Kisumu Town.
I started the business way back in 2012 after college with help from my mom who was into poultry farming.
since then I have been realising profits due to high demand of eggs within the city and outside.
I have saved some money with aim to buy a motorcycle which will help with transportation of eggs to customers.
My children are in lower primary school, I do depend on the business to educate them.
My business is supply of eggs and chicks, an egg outlet shop where I sell eggs and chicks, I get the eggs from my farm sell them in retail and wholesale, I also sell chicks ranging from 1 to 8 us dollars.
Demand for eggs is always high am struggling with out of town supplies as i have managed to meet the demand from within. A motorcycle helps me with the supply outside town.
With consistency in production will be able to caught more customers and generate more revenue.
I will invest the money in my poultry farm through buying of layer chickens poultry feeds and renovation of poultry house. I will build extra laying boxes this helps make the chicken comfortable when laying eggs.
