My name's Felix Owuor Okulo. I am 23 years old. A student at Moi University. I live in Eldoret,Kenya.
I am also a farmer, I plant tomatoes n kales which I sell to the local market.
My family has a piece of land where I do my farming activities. Its actually where I got my farming skills from
In langas, Eldoret we boast of a very good climate. We recieve rain throughout the year, unlike most parts of Kenya where rain isnot this adequate,
Its good for agricultre.
I really do not have a hobby, but I find myself at the farm most times, well , I'd say farming is my hobby!
In my farm, I majorly plant tomatoes ,kales, onions, local vegetable, potatoes, casava
Kales, tomatoes and onions are consumed DAILY so it hasa higher demand all year long!
I prefer farming because, first, its a source of food, then it has good profits, and I just love it anyway
In a year, I would use 40,000kshs. I'd get approximately 70,000 Kshs to 90,000 Kshs.
I save profits for bad seasons, I reInvest back to the farm and help out my family some .
I will buy Layers and Kienyeji Food.Buy a drinker. I will get sawdust to keep the chicken-house warm
