I am from Saloum from the regions of kaolack and Kafrine. I'm married to a man from the region of Thiès, we met in Dakar at Parcelles Assainies, my workplace, he is an electrician and works on markets. I stopped going to school on 11th grade after that I worked in clothing manufacturing where I worked for 7 years and it has been more than five years since I opened my own clothing business at the market at Unit 12 of Parcelles Assainies. I bought a place to install the clothing workshop. My husband and I, we do not have any children yet and we rent the place where we live. I have brothers and sisters who live in NDOFFANE with my parents. I am exclusively in Dakar for the needs of my business. I request a loan from Zidisha to increase the production capacity for both my business and meet the demand of my clients.

I am an entrepreneur and I have a sewing business on the market of Parcelles Assainies Unit 12. A clothing workshop that makes clothes for men and women. I sew traditional pants, shirts and tunics. I sell pants from 5000 FCFA to 3000 FCFA, shirts and traditional boubous for 10 000 FCFA. I spend for trousers up to 2000 FCFA, 1750 FCFA for shirts and traditional clothing for 7500 FCFA. I have regular customers who come to buy and ask for a loan and other to make an order. I have basic expenses of 60 000 FCFA for electricity per month and I work with two tailors that I pay 1.5 million FCFA per month (for the two) and I have also diverse operating expenses for the amount of 150 000 FCFA. I make a turnover of 450 000 FCFA divided into product sales and delivery service for customers who bring their fabrics. My business income will be used partly for more provision of service for my clients and to support the expenses and the remaining money will be sent to my parents who live in Ndoffane.

I just resumed business as customers call me every morning and evening for the delivery of their order and they do not want to change providers. I want to resume activities, but I need more money, the money I saved is not enough to buy more fabrics. Because if you make urgent orders and there is no money to buy the fabric, it results in the delay of the order, that is why I am seeking funding to better serve my clients.
