my dreams for the future are to make my tailoring business grow to a point where i can provide work to many girls who are being misused by many as house girls ,i want to empower them with knowledge
i started doing business when i realized it was the only way i could get income to help my hailing husband then and my handicapped son who needs medical attention from time to time
the business deals in designer kitenge African wear i decided to start this business five years ago when the demand for the same was evident in the many occasions i attended and realized people liked what i know how to make my biggest challenge has been competition which is brought by me not being able to meet my customer demand due to the levels of working capital my competition gets from banks but you see banks are very expensive for me ,when i learn t about kiva i said this is where i belong My customers are wedding people and all those have other occasions like graduations and our African traditional weddings too I am mostly proud of the fact that i do a unique job so many people come to me
the purpose of this loan is to purchase an extra sewing machine which will be used by one of my daughter who know how to dress make I expect to be able to meet my customers demand and make more income hence helping my family needs in a better way My life will definitely change because the stress of not been able to pay my house and shop rent will reduce and food will be available for my family
