I started school in 1998 and I completeed in 2006 and I went to college to study business administration and I graduated with a diploma, I now operates my own Zoona mobile money-transfer business in Mpika , Zambia. My business provides financial services to people in his community.
I began running my own business ten years ago selling clothes. He added the business of mobile money transfers to boost his income, as his profit margins were very low and he struggled to provide basic needs for his family. Today the combined incomes from my two businesses help me earn a decent living. I make good profits from this business because there are two the other one gives me $20 a week and the other $30.
I am requesting a loan from zidisha because he wants to pay for his trading booth which he currently uses it to make his transactions but has not paid for it due to lack of capital. This loan will also help me to add on the money that he has to serve customers in his business. Adding capital to his mobile money transfer business will help me earn more commissions and help him take his daughter school. He is hopeful that this will improve his standard of living.
