Was broght up in a poor family but through help of relatives managed to clear campus. I started my business from personal savings. The people in my area of operation are very hard working. My children want to finish school and have successful careers. My hoppy is watching EPL soccer
My business involves mpesa and sell of scratch cards. Mpesa has become away of life and most people own mobile phones thus there is need to recharge most of the time. My costs include monthly rent of Kes 7000 wages of Kes 12000 and miscellaneous expenses Kes 5000. My gross income is Kes 65000 per month. I use my profit to educate my family and living expenses. If i get additional capital i will open other outlets to increase my income.
I will a scratch card at Kes 93/- and sell it at Kes95/- wholesale and Kes100/- retail. If I sell 1000 cards per day, I will make a minimum of Kes3,000 per day. If a set a side Kes1,500 to cater for wages of the distribution guys and other operational expenses, I will be left with a net income of Kes1,500 per day translating to KesKes39,000 per month of 26 working days. I will have thus created employment for at least three guys and helped them live on atleast a wage of Kes300 each per day
