I am Kenyan who is 35 years old, i went through primary and secondary educations between 1986 and 1997, thereafter i went to college where i pursued a diploma in computer engineering, after that i got employed in a Vegetable, Fruit and Flower exporting company. I am also a farmer, where i keep Broiler chicken for commercial purposes. This business has assisted me in my own life and also in payment of school fees for siblings and some relatives. It has also created employment for some of my relatives.

I am currently in poultry farming business whereby i keep broiler chicken for meat purposes. This business entails buying of a day old broiler chicks, rearing them for between 5 and 6 weeks and thereafter selling them for around 4 dollars each. I usually buy an average of

300 chicks for around 194 dollars. The cost of food and medication is around 570 dollars and after around 5 to 6 weeks i am able to make a sale of around 1200 dollars, which translate to a profit of around 400 dollars. My costumers range from hotels, butcheries and individuals. The major challenge in this business is poultry diseases but this can be avoided by proper medication. I plan to use the money i will borrow to build a bigger poultry house and a food store so that i can be able to bring a bigger poultry stock

I am planning to grow my poultry business to a large hatchery one day, hence i require to take care of the fluctuating power issues that i experience. Because of this am planning to purchase a small generator that will serve my needs for now. the cost of the generator

will be around 300 dollars plus other small operational costs. I therefore ask for your support as you have always done to raise these funds. Thanks
