My names are Elijah Ogaya Ogutu I was born in Nyanza west Karachunyo in year 1993 and went to Jogo Primary School and later Joined St Peters Educational Center where I did my O level. after that I was employed by export processing Zone till 2006 where I decided to start my business where I opened a retail shop In Utawala MC near administration police post. I work very hard so that I my secure my future of my family and create a good foundation for my future family when I get married and have children. My main objectives is to succeed in business and let the sky be the limit I hope to expand my business to higher levels
I started my business after leaving formal employed where I was being paid a very small salary which could not sustain me for one month. The business of shop is doing well and I able to meet my daily expenses for my self and support my parents who lives up country. In the shop I sell all type of merchandise goods such as sugar,salt,sweets, milk, Telephone Airtime , cooking fats, white flour and maize flour, soaps, toothpastes , washing powders and many more . I make daily sales of Ksh 5000 and after paying for all the expense I remain with Ksh 500 as profit per day that s KSH 15,000 per month which is enough to pay for my basic needs such as food,clothing and house rent. I wish to request for a loan from Zidisha to make my business large as their is very high competition and I need to bring more product to my shop.
