I am a based Mufulira small-scale farmer and my names are Maxwell Bwalya. I argue people to consider farming as a viable source of livelihood amid the country's high unemployment rates. School life is a wonderful phase where we make friends gain knowledge, and lay the foundation for our future. I completed school at Mpika Boys Secondary School, my school life was awesome because receiving Pocket money from my parents was the most wonderful thing. If anything I need like books, pens, colors, I use to demand and dad use to bring it for me, that pocket money was only for my chocolates, lays etc. I would like share my hobbies which are: singing, cooking because I like to eating good foods, reading financial books is my favorite. And dancing when the mood is allowing.
I am specialized in vegetable farming, and I believe that agriculture can provide informal employment and self employment opportunities for many. I emphasize that people, especially youths shouldn't just wait for formal jobs. Because farming can be a rewarding and sustainable way to earn a living. I use profits made from crops to cover family living expenses like food, education, healthcare and to reinvest in my farm operations, for example, machinery, irrigation, inputs to ensure future productivity and financial stability. Buying seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential production inputs for the next growing cycle.
I am kindly requesting for a loan for the specific project, of me purchasing a water pump. Water pump will help me efficiently moving water from a source to my fields, it will enable reliable irrigation to boost my crop yields and productivity and ensure crops to get the water they need when they need it, leading to better and more profitable harvests.
