I am married with two children. We live in the capital city of Kenya , Nairobi. I am currently working as a sales person and the same time I am pursuing my degree course in Business management at the Moi University.
I ventured into business as a way of increasing my income after my wife fell ill and was diagnosed with a condition known as Addison. The condition needs good medication which comes at quite a high cost.
The earnings from the business helps me in paying her medical expenses plus running our house bills.
I spend most of my spare time with my wife and kids since she needs our support to help her with her condition. she goes under a lot and she constantly and being with family helps her fight her condition positively
I have income coming from two sources, that is from my sales work and from my business.
I run a digital tv digital installation service. The business stocks Digital boxes,Dish kits and there accessories( tapes, cables, connectors and LNB).
There is very high demand for digital tv since the country is undergoing an analog switch off of all tv broadcast and transmition and to meet this high demand, my business is committed in providing quality installation service.
Better services puts us above our competitors in the field, and our client base is high through networking.
The business operating cost stands at $1500 which also includes wages of two employees, and the turnover is $500-$600 on the total cost.
With Zidisha under my belt, I intend to expand our services by buying new equipment to meet the increasing demand of our clients
When I get this loan I intend to buy equipment for Dstv installation, due to the increased demand for digital tv services. I intend to buy cables, tapes, connectors and lnb, this will take up to 100 dollars, the remaining 50 dollars, I will top up to my savings in order to get satellite dishes, decodres and transport. Currently Kenya is on the verge of going digital and things are looking up therefore translating to more profits. I need to meet the demand and exceed expectations, much far and beyond. Please Zidisha, help me walk the talk.
