I am 49 years old. I decided to quit my Job last year (2014) to pursue my dreams. While in employment, I was never really happy. For one i had no time for myself, family, friends and the community. After quitting, I ventured into Vehicle Tracking business which wasn't very successful due to regulations, unfair competition & lack customer trust in the industry.
I have not given up. I continue to learn more each day and I am sure that I will succeed and meet my goals soon.

I own a barber shop called Purple Cool Palace. I registered this name so that I could expand into Beauty Products, Salons, Modeling, Health Spas, etc. I have had it for almost 2 years but it has not been easy because of rent challenges, honest staff and the area of operation. The space is limited but at the moment I am looking for a bigger space, a better area and I can now monitor the business and my staff activities via CCTV and POS Systems.
When I go home, I attend to my other ICT business. I register domains, I host, I design websites and I am currently working on an Online Insurance Application. I also do training, support, networking, software and hardware sales, and consultancy.
I will set up product shelves and counter tops (KES 10,000)
I will buy beauty & salon products for selling to customers and for use in the salon (KES 10,000)
I will by paint the place. (KES 5,000)
I will buy a balder machine, a dryer, towels, (KES 25,000)
