My childhood was very interesting,i grew up in the village raising animals and helping my parents in the farm,i am the first born in a family of four siblings.Education wise i went to kinoo primary then after completion i joined kijabe girls for my high school education.
After high school my parents couldn't afford school fees for college so i started selling custom made cards with a little capital from friends and some funds from my parents i enrolled into Kenya Polytechnic, Later got a job as a waitress and enrolled for higher education with the savings i had from the waitress job. This time I joined Buru Buru Institute of Fine Arts and got a Diploma in Graphic Design and Printing After graduating in college I worked as an intern in a printing firm, by the time the internship was over I had gathered enough clients to go into business on my own have a baby girl who is 3 years old and a son who is 10 months. My favorite pastime is spending time with my kids and swimming.
I do graphic design and printing. My job entails designing and printing things like brochures, annual reports, banners, business cards, posters etc.I chose this business because it involves a lot of creativity and thinking out of the box and i am also passionate about art and graphic design.
My cost and revenues range between 600 and 1000 dollars a month depending on the clients and amount of work i get in a month.I reinvest some of the profit back into the business to buy raw materials and also use the rest for sustaining my family.
I will use the loan to buy raw materials for printing and also finance my local purchase orders. This loan will help me to do my jobs faster and also faster delivery to clients.I have a lot of printing and design jobs the financing would help me to relieve some of the backlogs.
