I am also a small scale farmer in my parents farm in a place called Limuru, Kenya and we grow a variety of crops like English cucumbers, strawberries, capiscums, maize, tomatoes. We also keep dairy cows and rabbits. We sell the produce to ready markets which buy in wholesale and also sell milk to the dairies that process it.
My source of income that will be used to pay the loan I get from my online business account which I get to work for different clients and earn like $200 monthly. I have an new contract that I have landed with a new client on Odesk and will be starting work this January 2014. My other side hustles include I am also a network marketer and affiliate marketer with established sites like Amazon and Ebay and get a revenue of between $200-$300 per month depending on traffic sales in a month. I need the loan to be able to host more websites, design good website to portray unique selling products and increase my affiliate products for sale. This is my goal for this year to be able to increase my income in this manner. I also have a small rabbit business that I co-run with my brother on the farm which includes buying and rearing of rabbits for sale due to the meat demand.
I am very thankful for the 2 previous loans that has helped me build my online business and now I'd like to build upon one of my offline businesses which is farming and rearing.
With this loan I'd like to rear chickens from purchasing of small chics and grow them to a certain weight size which is required by the market such as Kenchic, hotels and restaurants which purchase chickens from farmers for sale in their establishments.
The money will go towards making equipment such as the chicken coop purchase chicken feed, heaters and medicines.
