Bridget Hamundyoli is my name , I come from a humble family of 3 girls and 2 boys. I grew up up with both parents. I went to Chibuluma Primary School and completed school at Kalulushi Secondary School in the copperbelt. While at school , I aimed at becoming a medical doctor but due to financial challenges , I was unable to enroll in the University as parents could not afford to pay for my tuition fees. Due to hardship of finances I did not give up on my education dreams, I went to Nkwame Nkrume School of education in Kabwe where I did my teaching profession. At the moment I'm an entrepreneur in education services , I ran a community school in our community which needs registration , school desks , computers and education books for learners. Coming to hear of Zidisha I got interested because I need funds to process the registration of the school and other school requirements, I will be most grateful to be part of the Zidisha international community family and have access to financial support.
I 'm involved in education services in our community, I provide education services to learners ranging from baby class, pre-school and primary. I need funds to help me register this school in the community and enroll more learners in the community especially the vulnerable children that cannot afford to pay school fees in reputable schools where they pay high school fees. I need a sum of 30,000 ZMW to register the school fully, buy more class room desks, computers and books for reading because most children lack reading skills and IT. Demand from parents is very high because most parents want to invest education for their children and as such the school will be generating more income for it to grow and impact education principles in the community to develop.
The funds I do request here , I need to buy register the community school fully , the response from the parents has very good . I also need to buy school computers for the young learners to adapt to the new world of technology and information and also class desks which has been a big challenge before we started .The community will impact education skills and impact many young learners the right to education.
