grew up in baringo where I went through my primary school. life was very difficult when growing up in baringo and we had to rely on my mothers little earnings.My father lost his job in 1983 and he has never been employed to date. After completing secondary school in 2000 I was employed in mobile telephone company in the retail marketing department .I resigned in 2008 to try my hand in business. Today I own a cosmetic business and also live on my own. I also have a wife and one child and support my parents and two siblings who are in school . In future I want to be a big enteprenuer and expand my business by opening more branches.
I started this business in 2013 because I wanted to be self employed and also improve my standard of living. I sell beauty products and fashion accessories such as body creams ,lotions, women scurves,handbags,hair weaves,blouses,wrist watches, sandles, bangles ,ear rings, chains and necklesses .
The biggest challenge I face is lack of capital for expanding the business. Most of my customers are ladies who want to buy beauty products and fashion accessories .
In future i want to expand my business and have three or five more branches. I am proud about my business because it has improve my standard of living.
I will use this loan to expand my business by opening another fashion and beauty shop. Together with my savings I will use kshs 4000 to rent the new stall. This loan will expand my business leading to increased revenue and increased profits hence stability. Increase in profits will also lead to increased personal earnings for myself and my family and this will improve my standards of living. I expect to feed my family much better and pay bills on time before i receive warnings
