Hello members of the Zidisha community. My name is Christabel Chongo a mother of two children. I live with two children a niece and my young sister who helps me at the restaurant. I went to school and completed school. My aim was to do nursing but my parents could not afford to pay for my tuition fees as they were not working at the time I was suppose to enrolled. Hence I got a job at restaurant were I started working as waiter until I raised a bit funds and started a short course in food production and catering. Through which after completion I was awarded a certificate in preparation and catering. Currently am running a my own restaurant with sister which is a source of livelihood and support my family.

I ran a small restaurant and at the restaurant I provide different food menu for customers to have their meals of their choice. The business is really doing fine but I lack restaurant equipment to help me prepare food properly. If I can helped with funds to buy the restaurant serving pans, food warmer, microwave , tables and chairs. I will be able to prepare and save the customers properly and improve service delivery.

With funds I will more restaurant dishes and serving which am lacking at the moment. Demand is increasing I need more dishes and serving for preparation of food staffs. This will and enable me work effectively and improve service deliver and attract more customers to come and buy food at the restaurant and increase revenue.
