Brenda Mwanza is my name. I am a single mother and have two young children. I am 34 years of age. I live in Chawama Compound. I went to Twashuka Primary School where I did my grade primary course and went to Kafue Boarding School where I completed my high school and obtained good school results. While at school was very good at food and nutrition and home economics. Most teachers were very proud of me when it comes to food preparations. Having a rich background in food and nutrition , while in high gave an advantage and recommendations from teacher and I food a job easily where I worked as a chef before enrolling at Fairview College and Hospitality. I have the passion in cooking and food preparations, as I ventured into entrepreneurship business with the help and support from school lecturers. Today I am a proud chef running my own business in our community.
I ran a small restaurant in our community which I established two years ago. In the restaurant I prepare foods staffs such chicken & chips, fish & chips, t-bone & chips, grilled chicken, boiled fish, beef and hungarian sausages and a variety of vegetabes. I started this business with just ZMW 1000.00 and I make a profit of ZMW 250 per day. In my restaurant I lack restaurant equipment which includes tables, chairs , plates, cooker and the serving pans for preparation of food and sitting arrangements for my customers. My restaurant is located at busy place and demand is very high. Hence I need support from the Zidisha community a sum of ZMW 3500.00 to buy some restaurant equipment missing to improve the service delivery and generate more good income. I have two children whom I sponsor in their education and I need them to acquire better education through this business that I'm currently running.
I'm here requesting for funds buy restaurant equipment due to business increase and demand. I need the funds tp help me buy the restaurant chairs, tables and aprons for the chef and waiter so that restaurant service delivery can be improved and attract more customers and therefore generate good profits to support the family .
