Prosperina Mwansa is my name. I come from a poor family. I grew up through struggles while a small girl. I was living with a single parent my mother and she did not meet every thing I needed. Going to school was very hard for me , sometimes I could miss school because of walking long distances. Living in third world countries which are under developed life is very hard. However, I managed to complete school despite many challenges I went through. Having obtained good results in my final examination, I became fortunate and I was awarded 100% schoolarship to study at Evelyn Hone College. I hold a Diploma in food production. Due to lack of employment in the city , I have decided to venture into entrepreneurship business. I 'm an entrepreneur and I have a great passion for business hence hearing of Zidisha community , I did become interested to join because I want my business to grow by accessing funds from the Zidisha community. My hobby is cooking food with different recipes and in free time I love travelling exploring new places I have not been yet.
I own a small restaurant in new soweto market. I provide food staffs of which are consumed every day. I prepare fried fish, chicken both boiled and grilled, pork chops, small fish called kapenta, beef stew, t-born and a variety of vegetables such as cabbages, beens , okra, rape , chinese cabbage, green beans and egg plants. Demand is very high because during lunch hour every one want to eat . My restaurant is very small has only 2 tables with 4 chairs each , meaning 8 chairs plus 2 tables. Therefore , I need funds to help me buy 3 tables each ZMW 1500, 12 chairs each ZMW 250 and I need 6 saving pans each ZMW 350 of which the total cost is amounting to ZMW 9,600.00 to purchase all the requirements to make the restaurant attract more customers because it has the potential to grow and expand and create jobs for waiters.
Currently the business is growing and increasing , the funds needed is buy the serving pans , tables and the restaurant chairs to accommodate more customers to increase revenue per day and grow the business. I want the business to become sustainable , improve the living standard , have three meal per day and provide my community with take away food.
