Ms. Khadija is my name. I was born in Bobo Dioulasso, a town in the western part of Burkina Faso and the capital of the province of Houet. Also called City of "Sya," Bobo Dioulasso is peaceful town with a mild climate and beautiful vegetation. From a monogamous family of three children, two girls and a boy, I'm a single mother of a daughter who is 3 years old. Personally I went to school up to the level of the 3rd class. I started primary school at Ouaga where I got my Certificate of Primary study and then I continued my secondary education in high school at Lycée Mixte d´Accart-Ville in Bobo Dioulasso, and reached the 3rd class.
I am a courageous and determined woman, my only ambition is to work and to contribute to development and my growth and that's what motivated me to come to Zidisha Microfinance with the aim to benefit from financial support to boost my business. I am in the catering business and, as you know, eating well is integral to our frequent customers. I am assisted in my catering business by one of my nieces who helps me with dishwashing and cleaning of the premises. I cannot complain too much because the earned income allows me to provide for not only my needs, but also to help make much of the expenses of my daughter. While hoping to succeed at my application, I want this money to buy plates and spoons. I plan in the future to move my locale to a more spacious site. Thank you.
