I am a business oriented person with strong managerial and accounting skills. In my village there are few shops and the goods demanded are more,therefore, there is a market gap that needed to be filled hence i found a business opportunity that tends to fulfill my dreams. As a sole proprietor i had the challenge of raising enough capital for my business and it could not work out well for me and thus i needed to borrow a loan so as to expand my business. Due to the inadequate capital i have not been able to stock a variety of goods and there i tend to lose customers who cant find what they want in my shop.
I own a small scale business which is a retail shop as a sole proprietor,it deals household commodities such as maize flour,sugar,cooking fat,salt,sugar and other foodstuffs,green grocer and cereals.I usually purchase my stock from wholesalers in bulk and later i re pack and sell to consumers at a small profit. My source of income for my business included contributions from family and friends,gifts,personal savings and borrowing from friends.
I will increase the stock of my business gradually and see my business expand from a small scale business to a medium scale one.i will also plough back the profits that i get from my business to the shop to expand it. as i continue to repay the loan and it increases i will be able to have more employees and advertise my business locally and also improve the livelihood of people in my community. The loan will also give me the ability to stock my shop with a variety of good hence serving my customers needs.
