my business is of a saloonist. i run my own saloon here at kaloleni. i do services like hair plaiting weaving body massage hair blow dry freshal and many more. this business is on a better well demand here because this town is one of the developing town in Mombasa and it has a large number of people living here and because of this population it has made this business to be on a safe side on being on demand.it is profitable because at the end of the day i earn something very reasonable as my income.my monthly running cost is Kenya shillings 15,000, and my monthly sales collection is Kenya shillings 30,000. this business is now giving me a monthly profit of Kenya shillings 15,000 which is is a good income profit to me.
With August holiday coming I want to stock my salon with salon equipments such as a new blow drier , shampoo, hair gels, weaves and equipments for manicure/ pedicure. This will boost my services and I hope to get good customers as people prefer coming to coast on holidays. I will also stock cosmetics such as body lotions, powders, glycerin and many other products.
