My name is Mildred Tapi and i am a hardworking mother of six. I am a businesswoman and i trade mainly in health related products. In my country Zambia this type of business is mainly dominated by men. But because of my never give up mentality and my perseverance i have managed to overcome most of the difficulties i have faced when setting it up.

I have over the years engaged in several business ventures including running a restaurant and grocery shops in Lusaka’s kamwala market and that has helped me sponsor my children into going to various universities in the country. For the past five years I’ve been dealing with various network marketing companies which deal in health related products. These products range from liquid chlorophyll to coffee and detoxing products for healthy living. Being a health coach I help people eat better and Maintain a good living healthy lifestyle by providing these key health supplements for daily intake. I’ve joined Zidisha team so that I can have access to funding in order for me to buy more products for sale and to open up a shop so as to make it easier for clients to hold meetings and purchase my products. These funding will help me reach a wider audience through marketing online and radio stations and eventually television. I also intend to use the loans for starting up some small businesses in my community to help me make more money to repay my loans and support my family.

I want to use this loan to purchase a scale. Since I’m currently looking for a shop for rent in central town to do business. I’m saving money to pay for materials and equipment and the first is the scale to weigh people’s weight to gain zmw5 per person.
