My name is Abdulawwal Abdulwasiu Adewumi. I grew up in Osun State, Nigeria, and later moved to Lagos State where I completed a Digital and Marketing training course after my secondary education. After gaining strong knowledge and skills in digital marketing, I decided to start my own business, Adewas Digital. My goal is to help small businesses in my community, support my family, and give back to others. Though the journey has been challenging, I am determined and focused on building a successful business that will make a difference in my community. In my free time, I enjoy reading and learning new things.

What is unique in where i live is:

In my community, people take great pride in their children’s education and skills. Many parents are actively involved in community activities and encourage their children to pursue learning and personal growth. I also do my best to contribute and participate, as I value the sense of togetherness. I currently have one wonderful baby boy, and my goal is to provide him and any future children with excellent education and opportunities to learn different skills. By God’s grace, I hope to give them the best possible start in life.

I run a small digital and marketing agency called Adewas Digital, based in Ikorodu Lagos Nigeria. I offer digital marketing, social media management, website design, and business branding services using Gohighlevel software. These services are in high demand because many small businesses need help promoting their products and services online. I chose this business because I enjoy helping people grow their businesses and improve their online presence. My typical costs include internet, marketing tools, and client services. I use the profits to reinvest in my business, support my family, and improve my skills to provide better services.

With the funds I receive from Zidisha, I plan to invest in essential tools and resources that will help me grow Adewas Digital & Marketing Agency. This includes upgrading my work laptop, purchasing high-speed internet access, and acquiring key software subscriptions used in content creation, digital marketing, and client management.

These upgrades will allow me to work more efficiently, deliver better results for my clients, and expand my services to more small businesses that need online visibility and marketing support. I also intend to use part of the funds to train one or two young people in my community in digital skills, helping them build a future in tech and earn a living for themselves.
