Hello there, my name is Rhoda Mangani a single mother of three children. I have one boy and 2 girls. I live in Nakambala compound of Mazabuka town in southern province. While growing up I loved school and did very well at secondary school. When I lost my parents things got bad along the way and could not further my education due to financial support. Therefore, looked for some piece of work and I started working a house helper, while working as a house helper , I started keeping saving some funds to start up a business of my own. I worked for 2 years, having raised some funds and became entrepreneur .I now have a small restaurant where I sale food staffs and earn a living to look after my children and pay for their school fee. Becoming a member of the Zidisha community is my hope to realize my dreams to growing my restaurant business and better the future of my children.
I ran a small restaurant business in small shop. Business is growing steadily but I lack enough money to but restaurant equipment such as tables, chairs, saving pots and pans and many more to use at the restaurant to attract more customers and generate more revenue. I started this business 2 years ago with just ZMW 500.00 and out of I use to make ZMW 200 as profit per week. Now I'm working with ZMW 2500.00 and per I make ZMW 250 to 300 of which per week I make ZMW 1800 to ZMW 2000.00. The business is highly profitable and I generate income every day. For the business to grow and make more income , I need to buy restaurant equipment and rent a bigger shop to accommodate more customers. The much anticipated profits is pay for school fees for my children , house rentals, shop rental at the restaurant and reinvestment. Hence, your support lenders will be helpful to grow and expand my business.
My two children are writing their examination this seminar starting in August and I need to meet and pay for their school fees. As a mother I never completed school successfully and I want to bring the best out of children. So that they can become better people in society and develop our community today.
