My names are Pauline Nyambura Kirika. I was born in September 28th 1988 being a third born in a family of five. I started primary school in 1996 and completed in 2004. I was admitted in Wendani girls high school in 2005 - 2008. A year later i was enrolled at Vera beauty college where i studied beauty and hair dressing from 2012- 2013. i did not go beyond college .after college i was employed at a boutique from 2014-2015 whereby i was able to save enough to start my own business of selling second-hand clothes (mutumba). i have been in this business to date.
i started my business with capital of 25000 Kenya shillings. the amount could only manage to buy two bales of second-hand clothes. one bale costs 12,500 shillings. i have been doing this business an open air market. In a day i make an average sales of 3000 shillings and i do business three times a week. i restock the business after two weeks. In a month, i make an average sales of 36000 shillings and average profit of 11000 shillings after expenses. this business is good has been sustaining me and my family for an year now. I have saved up to 80000 shillings. i want to have a shop of my own where i can be working on daily basis and from your assistance i will manage this.
Simply, I will buy extra stock for the business, add variety of stock and do some little personal effects for growth.
From the loan, it will help me help my parents and family financially, enable me support my kid financially as he approaches to start school, promote th the welfAre of my neighbours basketball club partially and buy a goat .
Am projecting the business will give me a 100% profit margin from the amount I would have invested.
