My name is Tasila Banda i am Zambian Citizen, i was born on 11 November, 2002 in Kitwe, my parents they are from Chipata village North Eastern province.

During my childhood used to cry a lot my and fighting my friend who have done nothing wrong to me, my mother told me, that was when I had 4 to 5 years.

I began baby class when i wad 6 years and i started grade 1 at 7 years old at Riverain combined School, there i wrote my grade seven exam i passed with 709 marks while the passing marks were 375 for girls, there after i went to Mitanto Secondary School there i wrote my grade 9 and 12 exams.

After i finished School i applied for a community developed fund short courses and i chose to do tailoring for 3 months, i chose this course so that i will use the skill to raise enough fund for doing account and finance course, after finishing this short course in tailoring i started doing some piece of works for tailoring and i raised 2000 ZMW and my mother who is a house maid gave me 1500 ZMW and altogether i had 3500 ZMW and i used it to buy a sewing machine.

And now I am working as a tailor fighting for furthering my education.

The very important culture of our land is that most people whenever they are in the process of getting married they do the celebration called Chilanga Mulilo in Bemba, this is when the family to a lady prepares all the types of food that they eat and take them to a house of man's family and celebrate, meaning that those are the foods that a lady will be cooking for her husband when they get married.

At this accessions everyone who is going to attend this celebration must buy a wrapper and make a suite so because of this us tailors we make money and also from other customers.

As my wish to get better education so shall my children be lawyers, accountants and doctors.

I love studying mathematics.

As at present time the business i am doing is tailoring. I am doing this as the way of raising enough fund so that i will go to university and do my course in accountants and finance.

And the funds i want to raise from Zidisha is for business continuation, working shop renovating and buying another sewing machine so that i will employ 2 employees who will be working whenever i have gone for School.

I chose this short course and business because it is the business which makes money every day and have a lot of customers.

The profit i make i keep some amount for furthering my education and some i keep it for buying materials.

Now that i start getting loans at Zidisha the other amount will be going towards the loan repayment depending on the amount i get.

I'm a person who is involved in tailoring duties so with the funds I will get I want to use it for buying different kinds of clothes material for making school uniforms and suits for men and women. this will make good profit for me.
