I am a 22 year old businessman. I deal in supply of Business technology software solutions. This are for example websites and a Point of sale software I wrote called Kleva POS. I also do consultancy on general technology issues for small organisations on the side.
I am a student of University of Nairobi in Bachelors of Law and Bachelors of economics and Statistics. I havent graduated in both as I paused my education due to a variety of reasons but i completed the latters studies.
I support my three siblings since 2013.
I am a talented, hardworking programmer and web developer. I, however, have never attended any computer school/studies
I deal in two main products: websites design and systems software production in general and supply of my Point of Sale system in particular. I usually charge about $120 for basic websites where about $35 go towards hosting and domain name. This taes me about three days. Monthly so far since I started in January I have a monthly demand of three websites. this is bound to increase after brand recognition.
I also install my POS at $380 per terminal. This can cost me upto $50 expenses. It should be noted that I have developed this software for about 10 months in the Java language and its very stable commercially and of quite a high standard, beating even Microsofts retail POS product on some quality fronts, besides price.
I however cant supply to most clients as I dont have a registered company, and they cant write cheques to(nor do business with) individuals. Also I wanted to brand my products to look more professional i.e have a website, company, business cards, work uniform, work cards and brochures. This will help me move to the next level. I have three companies that have indicated interest. A supermarket or restaurant thats moderately sized can pay $950 for their software installation.
Therefore I can pay the borrowed sum within a maximum of four kmmonths but probably in a few weeks.
Purchase equipment and inventory to roll out my furniture building business. We use palettes to create attractive, affordable furniture enabling us to create employment for lots if carpenters.
