I was born to a peasant mother and father who struggled to raise my school fees. I attended primary school, went to secondary and finally university. Currently I am doing my masters.Through the education I acquired I was able to get business knowledge which enabled me open my own business. Starting the business wasn't quite easy because of capital limitations but through friends and the little I had saved, I was able to start the business after which the bank loans really sustained the business. The people in my community are very friendly and always positive about development. I have one baby girl aged 3 months and when she grows up I would really wish to see her become a doctor. In my free time I really love to read inspiration books.
I sell soda as a distributor and they are in very good demand because many people like to quench their thirst through a cold drink such as soda whenever they travel or generaally have the drink after a meal. During functions too, soda is very important because its the only affordable and acceptable drink by everyone. I chose this kind of business because its quite profitable and soda is always on demand hence the stock does not stay unsold for long period of time. My monthly costs are around Ksh. 20000 per month and the revenue is Ksh. 200000 per month. I use the profit mostly to re invest in the business and the remainder is for my little expenditure.
I plan to use the loan for business purpose mainly to increase the stock level in my soda business. This will be a big boost to me because it will increase my profit and to others(my customers), this make sure they get the product on time and will not experience shortage.
