I am Dorcas Asamah, a trader in Ayirebi a village in Akim oda district of Ghana. A pupil educationist also in a nearby village of the Ayirebi. I live with my family and siblings . And also a very business minded woman for that matter. I develop the habit and interest of setting up a business after a serious experience i encountered sometime back,i need money badly to register for the pupil teacher education entrance exams in order to qualify and be granted the opportunity to teacher where i am today. all this failed me!

I have to move from friends to friends , family to family and neighbors houses just for 250 ghs worth of cash for this purpose.

In all and these several attempts, I did not find any help and in that year i had to let off go that slimiest opportunity that came my way that year.

In gathering this experience , and also learning a lesson from this, i had to move up my effort this time to plan my life and for that matter my future very well.

It was finally the church that offered me some small amount as a borrowed sum in return, After realizing that the time for the registration had long gone so i quickly decided not to return this money, but rather invest it into a petty trading business.

I pull in more vim and vigor into venturing into this retail business and God been so good today i have a small retail provision shop in front of my house that my younger sister and myself do sell.

Setting up a business and maintaining the culture of good spirit in wanting to promote and see it stand well is an advantage and an achievement.
