In my early childhood days, i listened to a particular conversation in a certain TV show. The were debating about the merits and demerits of being employed versus being self-employed. I was overwhelmed by the merits that go alongside with self-employment. From that day, i vowed to start up an income generating project despite my young age. I would buy sweets and spices with the few coins my parents gave me before going to school and when at school i would sell the sweets and the spices(Royco Cubes) at a relatively higher price. I would save the extra profit accrued and before i exited primary school i bought myself a new phone. This was a big achievement those days. People older than me including my uncles would borrow or at times hire my mobile phone to make calls. I charged them heavily and this enormously boosted my saving account. To cut my long story short, i am still in school, but i have managed to start up several businesses which are worth almost 1,000,000 shillings. To date, i am living my childhood dream of being self-employed and i am not in any way whatsoever planing to be employed by any person.

I have a milk dairy shop along Thika Road which is run by two of my employees. I sell farm fresh milk, tea, home made yogurt, mala, home made cakes, sweet potatoes, chapatis etc. I own a simple classic hotel branded "NICO's (my nickname)" where i sell chips and a number of great dishes. We own a vehicle spares parts shop with my" fiancee" where we deal with oils, nuts, bolts, bulbs, truck's clutch systems, welding items, paints, fillers, greases etc.

I own several academic accounts which i manage and have several workers who work under me.

I own small piece of land (3 acres) which was given to me by my lecturer in Laikipia County where i do farming.

I use the profits from this businesses to reinvest, grow my businesses, pay my daily and monthly bills and payment of part of my school fees. I intend to open a beauty shop soon.

I have been given an order to supply home care items. I need a hospital bed, concentrator, consumables, bed liners and they will be repaid later.

I am running short of cash required to raise the money
