My names are Gisford Muleya, born in 1992, 07,april. Am the only lady from the family of eight(8) who has grown up with a passion of been a driver and do what ever it takes to make it possible for education to stand as the first priority in life. I started my school fron Libala basic school in 1999 livingstone until the time i was in grade nine (9) in 2008. I then moved to Chikankata and i learnt there until my grade twelve (12) in 2011.
My hobbies are listening to music and playing chess
In 2012, I decided to start something by myself. I also had a strong entrepreneurial streak. That, paired with a bold personality, made me eager to try out starting something in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Many of my friends accused me of being a social deviant [laughs]. I chose taxi driving because this is a very non-traditional thing to do for a woman in Zambia and I think of my decision as a gender statement. I didn’t mind stepping on a few toes to change the status.
When am fully funded, i will buy new spares like shoks and suspension at $40 for my car and make it road worth, pay all my road tax worth $30 and buy new tires at $20 each at a total of $80. Once my car is road worth, that will help me work hard for more hours and rise more money because i will have no limits of were i can reach and cant.
Suspension for my car(tax)
